What is included in the price of the trip?
The price includes 7 days and 6 nights at our boutique accommodation, travel arrangements during the trip, Marseille airport or Aix-en-Provence train station pickup, private tours with local guides, tastings, all meals and drinks including alcoholic options like wine and beer.
What is not included in the price of the trip?
International round trip airfare, activities/food/drink you purchase on your own, room incidentals (laundry, bar tabs, room service, etc).
Who is leading the trip?
Florence, who is a french native and has been leaving in the United States for over 20 years is leading your trip in France. Candice and Clément from Finding France, our partner travel agent, are helping plan the trip and making sure every detail is taken care of. Details about the team
Will we have free time to explore on our own?
We have some time scheduled in our itinerary where you can explore on your own or rest at the guest house. Although, we highly recommend you get to Paris a few days before to get through jet lag and visit all the places you have on your short list. Our travel agent can help with your hotel reservation and private tours and offer several additional experiences if you decide to arrive earlier or depart later.
What if I want to extend my trip?
You are welcome (and we highly encourage you to) to extend the trip either before or after the scheduled portion of the trip. Please let us know if you need help finding accommodations and Finding France our French travel partner can help you.
We might also be able to book extra nights at the guest house. let us know how we can assist you to facilitate all reservations.
What if I want help getting from the airport to the train station or from Marseille airport to the guest house?
We can help you book a train ride from Paris Gare de Lyon (TGV=Tres Grande Vitesse) that will take you in Aix in 3 hours.
Our private drivers will pick you up at your arrival in either Marseille international airport or Train station of Aix-en-Provence. This service is included in your trip.
How will we get around in Provence?
We will be walking a fair amount and will also use private transportation.
In Provence, all transportation will be by comfortable private buses and you will enjoy our friendly drivers.
What are the physical demands of your tours?
Our tours are active and involve walking and standing, as we explore Provence's markets, towns, and scenic spots. We’ll be outdoors in various weather conditions, so comfortable footwear is a must!
With our small group size, we can easily accommodate most individual needs. Whether you prefer a slower pace or need extra support, we’re happy to adjust to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the experience at their own comfort level.
Can I get special meals for my dietary restrictions?
We can accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance so that we can tailor menus to meet your needs.
A survey will be send to all participants so we understand everyone food and drinks preferences.
Do I need to get a travel insurance
We highly recommend that all participants file for a medical travel insurance, as well as a cancellation insurance with a travel insurance company in their home country.
Finding France is fully licensed, insured, and registered with French tourism authorities.

What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we're committed to offering the best service while remaining flexible to any changes. To help you feel secure, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. Below, you’ll find the cancellation policy for Finding France, our travel partner:
For cancellations made more than 30 days before the service start date, 40% of the total service cost will be forfeited.
For cancellations made less than 30 days before the service start date, the full 100% of the total service cost will be forfeited.
This policy ensures clarity and helps us manage any unexpected changes.
